Brigitte Balma |
Singer and actress living in the south of France, Brigitte Balma has performed in many musical shows such as "La Rue" (Compagnie Dell'Arte) that ha been played dozens of times the South of France from 2001 to 2005. In 2003, she created her first original show : "Histoires d'Eux". It is a patchwork of the songs and anecdotes of 4 famous French artists admired by 4 generations. The show is broadcasted during festivals, and also in theatres and dinner-concerts. In 2006, she has produced the show entitled "Chansons Françaises des Années 50 et 60" (French songs from the 50's and the 60's), with an evocative title and a strong visual. It has been played in festivals and summer nights of the French Riviera. In 2009, creation of the music show "Barbara... beyond dark", a tribute to Barbara, the singer, since performed in several theatres and more recently for the Festival "Femmes en scènes" in March 2010 at the Francis Gag Theatre of Nice. This show will be part of the Summer "Estivales du Conseil Général 06" 2013. At the same time, Brigitte Balma performs with an acoustic line-up, in more intimist places. This repertoire includes French and international standards and mixes jazzy harmonies with pop folk flavours, which invites the audience to a musical journey, throughout humorous, melancholy and surprising lyrics. In 2013, she is appearing in the musical "Les Biquettes" (La Jaja Company) as a singer, actress and dancer, delivering several performances throughout the whole year 2013. In 2014, creation of "BB Duo". |
